As we remember Sylvia McCorkle who lived her life for others in the light of the Lord. Born Dec. 31, 1941 and passing on Jan. 31, 2009. Her heart was pure and kind. She will always be remembered by her friends and family as a woman who lived her life for others so they could be safe and happy. Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Minden. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
