The Spring Sports Clearance night is 6-7 p.m. today in the north foyer of Carson High School.

Those athletes who have not participated in a sport this year needs to get their packet completed, and those who have played a sport will need to attend this evening to sign up for the sport they are interested in.

The choir and culinary programs are presenting a "Grecian Feast" at 7 p.m., Feb. 13 and 2 p.m. on the 14th. Tickets are $20 and include a meal and the show.

Tickets can be purchased from any Concert Choir student. Please come out and see this very funny show, written by Lainey Henderson.

With Regional Basketball Playoffs just around the corner Feb. 17-21, our varsity teams will round out the regular season play with two final games this week.

Tuesday, they will hit the hardwood against Churchill County High School in the Carson High Gym. Friday the 13th they will venture down to the rival school of Douglas High.

Good luck to both teams in their games.

Congratulations to the CHS rifle team for capturing the annual "Top Gun" trophy in the competition among the five Naval Junior ROTC schools in the area, finishing 32 points higher than the nearest competitor, Reed High School.

Top shooters for Carson are team captain Shane Higgins along with Richard Graves, Taran Santiago and Kyle Paradise.
