Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:44 a.m. Wednesday in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of second-offense drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and failure to maintain lane. Bail was set at $2,921.

- A 19-year-old food service worker from Carson City was arrested at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday at Eighth and Division streets on three warrants for failure to appear on traffic citations, suspicion of petty larceny, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,724.

- A 35-year-old cashier from Carson City was arrested at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday in the 2600 block of Pinion Pine Drive on suspicion of contempt of court.

- Rudolph Nicholas Medina, 47, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 1:28 p.m. Tuesday in the 3500 block of Vista Grande Boulevard on suspicion of felony intimidating a witness and violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $18,000.

- Jerry Jones, 38, a maintenance worker from Carson City, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $20,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report at 7:13 a.m. of a compressor stolen from a construction site at South Division and Fifth streets.

- Coroner call in the 600 block of North Stewart Street at 1:44 p.m.

- A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Kingsley Lane at 2:14 p.m.

- Report of a magnetic decal stolen from the side of a vehicle on Cascade Drive at 3:06 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- A driver upset over slow service backed up and damaged the sign at the Burger King in Fernley at 2:13 a.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Tamsen Lane at 1:50 a.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 339 in Mason Valley at 3:07 p.m.

- Residential burglary report on Grayhawk Drive in Dayton Valley at 8:33 p.m.
