The Carson City District Office of the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services, 2533 N. Carson St., No. 200 will change its hours effective Monday, March 2 to 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For information, call 684-0800.

"North of the 49th Parallel" at library

Trombone soloist featured with Carson City Symphony performance

The Carson City Symphony will perform 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 22 at the Carson City Community Center Bob Boldrick Theater in a concert featuring bass trombone soloist Dan Barrett. The program includes pre-concert entertainment in the lobby at 3 p.m. and a "Meet the Soloist" concert preview in the Sierra Room at 3:15 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission; $12 for seniors, students and Symphony Association members and free for children age 16 and under. Sneak preview of The Lodge

The Lodge will host a sneak preview of Carson City's newest assisted living and memory care community, 12:30-4:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Gold Dust West Hotel and Casino in the Pinon Room, 2171 Highway 50 East.
