Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 63-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 4:16 a.m. Friday at College Parkway and Otha Street on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

- Alan Jackson, 42, of Carson City, was booked at 9:30 p.m. Monday on suspicion of felony forgery, impersonating another inmate, misdemeanor receiving or possessing stolen property, petty larceny and obtaining money under false pretenses. Jackson, a jail inmate, allegedly signed another inmate's name to a slip for $90 worth of commissary merchandise. A 23-year-old inmate was also additionally booked on three misdemeanors for allegedly accepting $30 worth of the commissary merchandise.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- A man was cited at 1:18 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of Siskiyou Drive for allegedly possessing drug paraphernalia.

- A man was cited at 2:01 p.m. in the 500 block of East Long Street for allegedly possessing marijuana.

- Accident at 3 p.m. at Hot Springs Road and Nye Lane.

- A U-Haul employee reported at 3:09 p.m. that a rental truck was overdue since Jan. 15.

- A caller on Harbin Street reported at 8:03 that unknown juveniles lit cardboard boxes on fire, then stuffed them under the caller's travel trailer and fled. A neighbor witnessed the incident and extinguished the fire.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Misdemeanor arrest on Main Street in Fernley at 2:21 a.m.

- A mother reported at 5:06 p.m. that her daughter's car was vandalized while parked at Dayton High School.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Report of trailers stuck in the middle of the road due to ice on USA Parkway at 5:43 a.m.

- Report at 11:31 a.m. of a man in district court "irate over taxes." Deputies were called to remove the man from the courtroom.
