Pauline Stroub, 98, an eight-year resident of Carson City, died Feb 2, 2009 in Carson City. She was born Oct 25, 1910 in Stamford, Conn. Among her survivors are sons Robert, Ronald, and Donald Stroub, daughter Lynn Cornfield, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. A celebration of life memorial service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb 24 at the Carson City Senior Center. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Carson City Senior Center or St Paul's Lutheran Church are requested. Her ashes will be scattered under a coconut tree in Florida. Mountain View Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
