Mostly sunny skies for Carson City

Weather for the Carson City area today will be partly cloudy with highs 45-55 with light winds.

Tonight, partly cloudy with lows 17-27 with light winds.

Saturday, partly cloudy in the morning becoming mostly cloudy with highs 48-58 with light winds becoming south around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday, cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs 49-59 with south winds 10-15 mph.

Utility work continues on Little Lane between Saliman Road south Stewart Street, mainly between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., with lane restrictions on Little Lane west of South Roop Street.

Utility work is also being done on North Roop Street from East John to Long streets, and on Corbett street, west of North Roop.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, as with East Fifth Street from Saliman Road to Fairview Drive.

Work on Highway 50 in east Carson City and Mound House has posted lower speed limits with narrow lanes just east of Flint Drive.
