Increase of clouds for Carson City

Weather for the Carson City area today will be partly cloudy with highs 45-55 with west winds 10-15 mph with gusts up to 35 mph in the morning.

Tonight, mostly cloudy with lows 23-33 with southwest winds around 10 mph.

Saturday, mostly cloudy with highs 54-64 with light winds becoming south 10-15 mph with gusts up to 35 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday, breezy with a chance of showers. Highs 49-59 with south winds 15-25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 6:05 a.m. all roads open with no controls.

Utility work continues on Little Lane between Saliman Road south Stewart Street, mainly between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., with lane restrictions on Little Lane west of South Roop Street.

Utility work is also being done on North Roop Street from East John to Long streets, and on Corbett street, west of North Roop.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, as with East Fifth Street from Saliman Road to Fairview Drive.

Work on Highway 50 in east Carson City and Mound House has posted lower speed limits with narrow lanes just east of Flint Drive.
