Lauren Wendt, 74, of Minden, died Feb. 19, 2009 in Gardnerville. He was born May 4, 1934 in Stayton, Ore. Among his survivors are sisters Ardath Huntsinger of Cameron Park, Calif. and Diana Hanneman of Yuba City, Calif; nephews David Huntsinger, Steve Huntsinger, Jeff Huntsinger, Greg Huntsinger, and Kurt Hanneman; and niece Laura Rogers. A graveside service will be 1 p.m., Friday at Eastside Memorial Park, Minden. Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
