Dorothy Thompson, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great "Granny", passed peacefully at home Monday, February 23, 2009 at age 82.
Dorothy moved to Carson City in 1991 and was best known and loved as "Grandma Dorothy" while a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada for more than 13 years.
She is survived by three sons and their wives, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. An open house and celebration of life in her honor will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2009 at her home in Jacks Valley (3562 Arcadia Drive).
She touched many hearts and all are welcome to share in our memorial in her honor. She will be sorely missed by us all.
