Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Tammy Lynn Sorenson, 47, unemployed from Carson City was arrested at 5:09 p.m. Thursday at Kit Sierra Way and Sherman Lane on suspicion of felony vehicle burglary and a misdemeanor contempt warrant. Bail was set at $25,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- A woman reported at 9:39 a.m. that she received a call from a company on Wednesday claiming that she won $5 million. She said she sent them a money order to cover the tax, and they are now constantly calling her.

- Coroner call in the 200 block of Tahoe Drive at 8:50 p.m.

- Two arrested at 10:14 p.m. at Walmart for shoplifting.

- A woman reported a man against whom she'd recently filed a protective order kept riding past her home on a bicycle and harassing her. Deputies served the man with the protective order.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- A Dayton woman reported her vehicle was missing and her roommate was gone at 2:10 a.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 3:15 a.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Dwight Way in Mark Twain at 12:45 p.m.

- Report of a rock thrown through a window on Mountain Rose Drive in Fernley.

- A woman on Pinecone Road reported at 9:58 p.m. that someone stole gas from her vehicle "and used a key that matched hers." The woman then talked about "being a federal agent and protector of the president." The woman was arrested on a misdemeanor drug charge.
