Victor D. Carl, 79, died Dec. 31, 2008, in Carson City. He was born March 18, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York to David Carl and Aino Karanko. Among his survivors are sons Peter Carl of Newbury, N.H., and Paul Carl of Newport, N.H.; daughters Victoria Carl of Newport, N.H., Tepa Chalmers of Carson City and Heta Ewing of Acworth, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and Tish Carl lifelong friend. A celebration of life will be noon, Saturday, 5415 S. Edmonds Drive, Carson City. Capitol City Cremation & Burial is handling the arrangements.
