Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Glenn Vincent Costa, 42, a maintenance man from Carson City, was arrested at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Marian Avenue on suspicion of felony drunken driving, driving without a valid license, filing a false police report and hit-and-run. Bail was set at $11,451.

- Timothy Allen Christensen, 38, of Gardnerville, was arrested at 5:56 p.m. Thursday at South Carson and Rhodes streets on a two misdemeanor Douglas County warrants and a Humboldt County felony warrant. Bail was set at $2,962.

- A 30-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson and Plaza streets on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs, driving without headlights. Bail was set at $1,199.

- A 29-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 7:46 p.m. Thursday at Winnie Lane and Ormsby Boulevard on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and three warrants for misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $2,183.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- A woman reported a man at North Carson and Musser streets tried to snatch her purse at 12:31 a.m.

- A red 2007 GMC pickup with personalized plates KORPUS was reported stolen from the 100 block of West Telegraph Street at 1:01 a.m.

- Fight report in the 100 block of West Telegraph Street at 2:01 a.m.

- Coroner call at 3:59 a.m. in the 1800 block of Nichols Lane.

- A woman on Michael Drive reported her tires were slashed sometime before 11:11 a.m.

- Attempted burglary report on Russell Way at 3:49 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Report of a rock thrown through a window on Gordon Lane in Mark Twain at 3 a.m.

- Report of a woman in a "large SUV" trying to run over a man on Atrium Road in Fernley at 3:05 a.m.

- Report of a diamond ring stolen from a residence on Gold Pan Way in Mark Twain at 10:24 a.m.
