Police want to question alleged couple in club fight

Two people are being sought for questioning in a shooting outside a Carson City nightclub Dec. 28.

Carson City Sheriff's Detective Bob Motamenpour said police want to speak with Erica Alvarez, 29, and Daniel Coronado-Rangel, 33, in connection with the fight and subsequent shooting outside JB's Latin Nightclub on Old Hot Springs Road.

Santiago Robles-Llamas, 21, Jose Luis Llamas-Rios, 21, and Agustin Sanchez-Nava, 19, were arrested in the early morning incident, after witnesses reported the three men were involved in a fight inside the club then reportedly moved outside.

According to police records, one of the three grabbed a man in a headlock and fired shots into the ground next to his head, while another fired rounds into the air. No one was injured. The victim in the case has not been identified. The three fled and were later found in a home on Louise Drive.

Motamenpour said that the dispute inside the club may have involved Alvarez and Coronado-Rangel.

Attempts to locate the two at their College Parkway apartment have failed, he said.

Coronado-Rangel is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a mustache and goatee. He is known to drive a black Honda, make and model unavailable.

Alvarez is 5-feet-6-inches tall, weighing 138 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She drives a gray Dodge Charger with a red racing stripe.
