The Lady Muckers had 11 players score in double figures in a win over the Lions. Megan Brandon led the the way for Virginia City with 14 points. Gigi Glogovac and Sophie Glogovac each added 10 points for the Muckers, who improved to 3-0 in league and host Smith Valley today at 4 p.m.
CARSON FROSH 64, DAMONTE RANCH 15
The Lady Senators scorched the nets to beat Damonte Ranch. Carson jumped out to a 28-0 halftime lead and never looked back. Selane Ghostbear and Megan Justice each pulled down six rebounds and Kahlia Wahpepah and Emily Collins each dished out four assists. Carson improved to 16-1 overall and 3-0 in league play.
BOYS
VIRGINIA CITY 80, GERLACH 37
Zach Shell led the Muckers with 19 points as Virginia City took advantage of a 32-4 first quarter to move to 5-9 overall and go to 3-0 in league. Cody Burrell pumped in 17 points and Kurt Lynch chipped in 16 for the Muckers, who host Smith Valley today at 6:30 p.m.
CARSON JV 60, DAMONTE RANCH 28
Tyler Collins led the Senators with 16 points. Tre Johnson added 12 for Carson, which improved to 10-2 overall and is 3-0 in Sierra League play. Carson hosts Bishop Manogue today at 5 p.m.
