Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- Robert Michael Tiehm, 43 and Rebecca Peltier, 26, both of Carson City, were arrested Friday night at Imperial and College Parkway on felony drug charges. Deputies learned of a felony warrant for Tiehm for drug trafficking, and made a traffic stop of his vehicle. A search of the vehicle turned up a container with methamphetamine and marijuana on the passenger side. Peltier, a passenger in the vehicle, told deputies that Tiehm gave her the container to hold during the traffic stop. Tiehm and Peltier were both charged with felony drug possession for the methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Peltier was also charged with felony probation violation, for which she was held without bail. Tiehm's bail was set at $50,000.
- Colleen Blackwell, 43, of Carson City, was arrested early Saturday morning at Winnie Lane and North Carson Street for felony probation violation. After being stopped for a traffic violation, deputies noticed the smell of alcohol. A blood alcohol test returned a result of .06, which is under the legal limit, but subject was on probation with a no-alcohol stipulation. Blackwell was held with no bail.
- Two 19-year-old students from Carson City were arrested at the 4000 block of Gordon Street for misdemeanor contempt of court. After responding to a party were juveniles were suspected of drinking, a records check found both subjects with outstanding warrants. Bail was set at $500 for subject 1, and $200 for subject 2.
- A 36-year-old homeless auto mechanic was attested early Saturday morning in the 2700 block of Lompa Lane for violating a temporary restraining order out of Wyoming. Subject was found in the company of his wife, who had issued the restraining order. Bail was set at $3,132.
- A 24-year-old barista from Carson City was transferred from Washoe County to Carson City Jail Friday night on a warrant for violating conditions of her release on a prior charge. Bail was set at $3,000.
- A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday night in the 2000 block of North Carson Street for misdemeanor violation of bail conditions and petit larceny. Subject was accused of shoplifting an item from a store. A records check revealed subject is on alternative sentencing for a prior petit larceny offense. Bail as set at $3,250.
- An 18-year-old known gang member from Carson City was arrested Friday afternoon in the 3000 block of Dale Drive for misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence. Armed with a warrant, deputies located the subject who attempted to run away before being apprehended. Bail was set at $3,000.
- A 49-year-old Denver man was arrested Friday afternoon in the 1000 block of South Carson Street on a warrant for failure to abide by conditions of an earlier DUI offense in Sparks. Bail was set at $500.
- A 57-year-old journalist from California was transferred from Douglas County Jail Friday afternoon on a warrant for failing to appear on a traffic violation. Bail was set at $207.
