James T. Riley, 60, a 14-year resident of Dayton, died Jan. 22, 2009, in Carson City. He was born Nov. 19, 1948, in Warren, Ohio, to Charles W. Riley and Emma V. Tyler Riley. He was preceded in death by his mother Ginny. Among his survivors are his wife Peggy Swallow; son Matt Riley; stepsons Richard and Randy Swallow; daughter Katie Riley-Robards; brother Barney Desroches; sister Diane Desroches and three grandchildren. A celebration of life will be 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 31 Terribles Casino in Dayton. Burial will be held at a later date at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley. Capitol City Cremation & Burial is handling the arrangements.
