Carson City Little League
Spring will be right around the corner, so head down with your children this coming Saturday and sign up for the 2009 baseball season. While you're there, look into volunteering, the league always needs umpires. Matt Teixeira is heading up the umpire recruitment and is looking for all the help he can get. Don't worry if you don't know everything, they will teach you the necessary skills.
I think it would be nice to see a few moms behind the plate. If you're interested in scorekeeping, snack bar duty, sponsoring a team or purchasing a banner, give them a call or come down to sign up.
