Ruth M. Short

Ruth M. Short, 79 of Reno, died on January 25, 2009, at her daughter's home in Gardnerville. She was born December 2, 1929, in San Francisco to William and Katherine Mudgett. Ruth is survived by her husband, Ted F. Short, daughters Kat Simmons, and Kris Robison, sons Michael Short and Matt Short, seven grandchildren, sister, Peg Dennis and sister-in-law, Marilyn Short. No public services are planned. The family requests remembrances be sent to St. Mary's Hospice Foundation, 520 West Sixth Street, Reno, NV 89503-4423, the Nevada Humane Society or the SPCA of Nevada.
