Carson City:
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- Patricia Juanita Olvera, 32, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Stewart Street on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument and obtaining money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $20,000. Also arrested was Veronica Rene Mayerson, 47, unemployed of Carson City, on suspicion of felony obtaining money under false pretenses, forgery, possession of a credit card without cardholder's consent and theft. Bail was set at $25,000. The women were allegedly trying to cash a check stolen from Mayerson's elderly charge.
- Eddie Von Krugler, 44, a laborer from Reno, was arrested at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on a felony failure to appear warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle and driving under the influence of drugs.
- Jameson Harris Smith, 39, of Carson City, was arrested at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Long Street on suspicion of felony third-offense drunken driving. Bail was set at $10,107.
- Santiago Robles Llamas, 21, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested on a felony warrant for attempted robbery with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $100,000.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
- Report of a person smoking marijuana outside a Goni Road business at 12:16 a.m.
- Fight report in the 3000 block of North Roop Street at 9:25 a.m. The individuals involved were gone by the time police arrived, but one of the suspects left his wallet at the scene.
- A gun was stolen within the last week from a home on Imperial Way.
- Several items were taken last week during a garage burglary on Airport Road.
- Report of an abandoned bicycle sitting outside a North Carson Street business for over a week.
- Report of a man with a weapon on Pinebrook Drive at 2:13 p.m. Police contacted the man and found him to be waving around a dart gun. He was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
- A maintenance man went into a vacant apartment to do repairs and he found a blue bag containing "white rock."
- A woman reported she had picked up a friend's 5-year-old from school and by 6:13 p.m. she still hadn't heard from the boy's mother.
- Two laptops were reported stolen from a home on Sneddon Way at 8:17 p.m.
Lyon County:
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
- Felony arrest on Appaloosa Way in Fernley at 12:32 a.m.
- Felony arrest on Lois Lane in Fernley at 2:50 a.m.
