Alvin Roy Williams, 76, a Carson City resident passed away on July 1, 2009. He was born on Aug. 20, 1932, in Oakland, Calif., to Jonas and Doris (Blue) Williams. Mr. Williams is survived by Betty Shark, daughter Rosita and her husband Jasper Jackson Jr., sons Gary, Ontario, Lamont and Amiel, 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother Charles Oliver (Sonny) of Stockton, Calif.; sister Dorothy Cole of Oakland. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two brothers and one great-grandchild. Viewing will be 1-4 p.m. Friday, July 10, at Autumn Funerals & Cremations, which is in charge of arrangements.
