Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $2,000.
• A 39-year-old cook from Carson City was arrested at 2:47 a.m. Wednesday at Roop Street and Winnie Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and driving without a valid license. Bail was set at $1,319.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Residential burglary report on Hampton Drive at 1:38 a.m.
• Three vehicles were burglarized on Beverly Drive sometime over the weekend.
• A woman reported her purse was stolen as she was inside a William Street bank at 12:53 a.m.
• Report of a 1997 light blue Ford Aerostar van stolen from the 2500 block of Scotch Pine Drive between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m.
• Report of a small fire in a field at Little Lane and Roop Street at 6:04 p.m. Witnesses reported seeing children nearby.
• A shoplifter was cited at Safeway at 6:17 p. m.
• A mother reported her 12-year-old daughter hitting her on Edmonds Drive. The girl was taken to juvenile detention.
