Leo Albert Bohner, 85, of Yerington died Monday, July 6, 2009, at South Lyon Medical Center. Bohner was a resident of Elko from 1966 to 1974, Carson City since 1974, and Yerington for the last 2 1/2 years. He retired in Carson City in March 1982 after working for the U.S. Geological Survey.

Bohner was born to Hugo and Hilda Bohner of Blue Springs, Neb., on April 10, 1924. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Della; sons, Dennis Bohner of Carson City and Steve Bohner and wife Susan of Yerington; grandchildren Pamela, Jessica, Corey, Casey, and Mackenzie; brother Loren (Sam) Bohner; sister Alethea Hain, and two other sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Lone Mountain Cemetery, 1044 Beverly Drive, Carson City, at 3 p.m. July 17, 2009.
