Johnnie F. Atkerson

Johnnie F. Atkerson, 81, of Carson City, died July 21, 2009, at Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare. She was born March 21, 1928, in Elk City, Okla., to L.A. and Rilla (Vaughn) McSwain. She is survived by daughters Edie (Bob) Wilken of Carson City, and Marian (Marshal) Lampkins of Veneta, Ore., and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Marion Atkerson and son James Smith. No service will be held. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
