Carson City Health Department's food-service inspections through May 28 (all scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations):

- Sak'N Save Food Store, 2100 E. Highway 50, produce department, scored 100 points.

- Save Mart Supermarkets No. 552, 3620 N. Carson St., meat department, scored 100 points.

- Save Mart Supermarkets No. 552, 3620 N. Carson St., deli department, scored 99 points. Found sanitizer bucket stored on top of food prep surface.

- Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive, food facility fee exempt, scored 98 points. Items are stored on the floor in the dry storage room and in the meat walk-in. Found bottoms of salad plates of prepared salads touching the lettuce on neighboring plates.

- The Basil, 311 N. Carson Street, restaurant, scored 100 points.

- Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada, 673 S. Stewart St., food facility fee exempt, scored 100 points.

- Carson Donut, 3170 S. Carson St. No. 10, bakery, scored 98 points. At least one employee of this establishment, must be a certified food handler.

- Baskin-Robbins, 3947 S. Carson St., ice cream shop, scored 100 points.

- McDonalds No. 31007, 3200 Market St., fast food restaurant, scored 96 points. No chlorine test strips are available for testing the concentration of the dry (packet) chlorine sanitizer used in the cloth buckets. Cloths used on food contact surfaces are not clean, do not contain sanitizer residual or are not used properly. Paper towels and a dispenser are not present at the front counter hand sink. The paper towel dispenser is broken at the kitchen (middle area) hand sink and there is no towel dispenser at the hand sink in the dish wash room.

- AFC Sushi @ WalMart, 3200 Market St., retail food producer, scored 98 points. The paper towel dispenser is open and empty.
