NV Energy will continue work to install an underground power line along Saliman Road between Colorado and Sonoma streets. The road will be restricted to one lane in each direction between Sonoma Street and Kingsley Lane. Drivers can expect minor delays.

The reconstruction of Curry Street from Koontz Lane to Rhodes Street is under way. This week's activities include work that will limit traffic to one lane with flaggers controlling traffic. Drivers can expect delays up to 10 minutes. Alternative routes are suggested.

Construction of the North Stewart Street extension from East John to North Roop streets continues. Restrictions in the project area include:

• East Adams and East Park streets will be occasionally closed between North Peters and North Roop streets to allow for sewer work.

• Moody Street between East Long and East Park streets will be occasionally closed to allow for utility pole work.

The Nevada Department of Transportation's work continues on the Carson City Freeway. Traffic controls are in place on East Fifth Street and on Fairview Drive with one lane of traffic open in each direction on the overpasses.

Third Street will be closed between Curry and Carson streets from 7 to 11:30 p.m. Friday for a summer concert.
