Pioneers for the day

Jiavanna Wong-Fortunato waits for the music to begin dancing recently at Fritsch Elementary School's celebration of Pioneer Day. The entire fourth-grade, including the teachers dressed in traditional pioneer clothing, attended school as pioneer children did, ate pioneer food for lunch and participated in a line dance in the gymnasium.
