Man accused of being naked near Tahoe high school

ZEPHYR COVE (AP) - A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being naked near a high school on Lake Tahoe's east shore.

Dean Mark of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., was arrested Monday after three Whittell High School students reported spotting a naked man tied to a rock and lying face down behind the school.

When the students asked if he needed to be untied, the man answered no.

Douglas County sheriff's deputies say the man told them he was watching some buzzards flying overhead at the time.

Mark, who said he was a freelance writer, was arrested on a charge of loitering on school grounds.
