William "Bill" Alexander LaFollette, 64, a resident of Roseville, Calif., went to be with the Lord June 9, 2009 after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gene and Carol LaFollette.
He is survived by his wife Karin LaFollette; sister Sarretta Knapp of Loyalton, Calif.; six children Donald LaFollette of Idaho, Paul Newman of Washington, Carolyn Matthews of Ohio, Darla Dodge of Carson City, Caitlin LaFollette and William LaFollette II of Roseville, Calif.; one nephew Ryan Knapp of New Hampshire and one niece Courtney Knapp of Reno and seven grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at the Sacramento Valley Veterans Administration National Cemetery with full military honors.
