Obituary: Darlene Holt

Darlene Holt, 74, died June 16, 2009, at her home in Silver Springs. She was born Jan. 31, 1935 to Arnold and Elenore Rakow in Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herman A. Holt, brother Arthur Rakow, and daughter Karen D. White. Among her survivors are children Craig White of Susanville, Calif., Lori Lakey of Loveland, Colo., Kirk White, Mark White, Arthur Holt, and John Holt all of Silver Springs, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., today at the Silver Springs Cemetery. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements.
