Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Robert Murray Leiter, 52, a Carson City laborer was arrested at 10:27 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon, and misdemeanors felon failing to register, trespassing and an outstanding warrant out of Reno Justice Court. He allegedly entered a garage in the 400 block of Gardengate Way with a handsaw.

According to the police report, the homeowner confronted Leiter and shot him with a pellet gun. A confrontation allegedly ensued with the homeowner wrestling the saw from Leiter. Bail was set at $23,257.

• Daniel Douglas Draper, 18, of Indian Hills, was arrested at 2:58 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon. He allegedly pulled a knife out on pedestrians he was arguing with, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $20,000.

• Patricia Ann Nicholas, 32, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 8:32 a.m. at Silver Sage and Snyder Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving and misdemeanor speeding. Bail was set at $2,607.

• A 33-year-old Carson City car wash employee was arrested at 1:23 a.m. Monday for failure to obey a citation. Bail was $1,019.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Monday

• Caller reported a bicycle left in the Nevada State Bank parking lot on College Parkway.

• A man reported at 1:18 p.m. that his wife's purse was stolen from a South Carson Street motel parking lot 90 minutes before.

• Coroner call in the 500 block of North Harbin Avenue at 2:37 p.m.

• A state worker on Old Hot Springs Road reported someone stole $300 from her purse at her office.

• Coroner call in the 2000 block of Lone Mountain Drive at 4:16 p.m.

• A man on Telegraph Street reported at 7:05 p.m. he was threatened by his intoxicated neighbor.

Sunday

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 9:59 a.m.

• A called reported their shed was burglarized in the 1000 block of South Curry Street sometime Saturday.

• Coroner call at Evergreen Mountain View Health on Koontz Lane at 7:55 p.m.

• Report of three children, ages 3 to 8 years old, left alone in an apartment on South Pratt Street at 10:29 p.m. Child Protective Services took custody of the children because relatives were drunk.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Sunday

• A woman reported at 8:14 a.m. that her 16-year-old daughter ran away.

• A caller reported at 7:06 p.m. someone was setting off fireworks near the 700 block of Canary Circle.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Saturday

• Caller on W Road reported at 7:16 a.m. that a bear "has been in the backyard off and on for the past week. Bear has emptied trash cans, ripped the screen of the back slider and bent the bird feeder."

• Report of shoppers stealing from a South C Street business at 3:40 p.m.

• Arrest on USA Parkway at 9:03 p.m.

Friday

• Report of an intoxicated woman walking down Six Mile Canyon Road at 1:56 a.m.

• Report of a dead horse in front of a building on East Mustang Road at 6:45 a.m.
