OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Aaron Cook took a shutout into the ninth inning and won his fifth consecutive start as the Colorado Rockies defeated the Oakland Athletics 3-1 on Sunday.

Chris Iannetta, Carlos Gonzalez and Seth Smith each drove in a run for the Rockies, who completed their first sweep of the A's and their fourth sweep in June.

Ryan Sweeney had two hits for the A's, who lost their fifth, matching their season high.

Cook (8-3) gave up nine hits while walking one and striking out four. The Rockies' franchise wins leader (60) has a 12-inning scoreless streak against the A's.

Vin Mazzaro (2-3) gave up three runs on five hits in five-plus innings. He walked four and struck out eight.
