Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 42-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 9:15 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor reckless driving. Bail was set at $1,764.

• A 19-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Hot Springs on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $337.

• Nicholas Randy Watts, 18, unemployed of Silver Springs, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. Tuesday on College Parkway on suspicion of felony failure to appear in Dayton Justice Court. Bail was set at $1,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Sunday

• Report of a man with a gun on Winnie Lane at 2:53 a.m.

• A person on Silver Oak Drive reported a neighbor with a butcher knife knocked on the door at 12:34 p.m.

Monday

• Neighbors were arguing on Highland Street at 7:57 a.m.

• Report of a man in a vehicle hitting a tree on North Carson Street at 8:52 a.m. The driver was arrested for DUI.

• Accident at Fairview and Edmonds drives at 12:22 p.m.

• Report of a stereo stolen from a vehicle on Hazelwood Court at 1:04 p.m.

• Report of a customer not paying for a meal at Basil at 1:58 p.m.

• A man reported at 3:19 p.m. that when his wife went out to her car after shopping at Wal-Mart she found a note on her vehicle that read, "Watch out. We know who you are."

• Report of credit cards and identification stolen from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Empire Ranch Road at 5:16 p.m. while the owner was golfing.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Monday

• Fernley man reported finding a bicycle "stashed" at the back of his property on Five Iron Court at 12:28 p.m.

• Report of an 11-year-old Fernley boy "attacked" by two dogs on Hazelnut Drive at 1:51 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 8:25 p.m.

• A Dayton homeowner reported a video game system was stolen from the 300 block of Rawe Peak Drive sometime before 8:25 p.m.

• Report of two men stealing liquor and fleeing in an orange Pontiac from Smith's in Dayton at 7:56 p.m.

Sunday

• A misdemeanor arrest was made after a Fernley man reported his dad was trying to "stab him in the throat" on Silver Way at 4:18 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest in the 400 block of Sheepcamp Drive in Dayton at 6:50 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Traci Lane in Mound House at 9:24 p.m. after a report of a 18-year-old female physically fighting with her 63-year-old grandmother.

• A Fernley mother reported at 8:59 p.m. that her 14-year-old daughter was having sex with a 19-year-old male.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Monday

• Report of a brown and black pit bull with tags on South C Street at 8:58 a.m.

• A caller reported a brown dog with a limp was going back and forth over the county line near Silver City at 9:34 a.m.

• A man reported he lost his brown wallet on North C Street at 10:29 a.m.

• Someone dropped off a medium-sized yellow Labrador at the fire station on Cartwright Road at 11:19 a.m.

• Arrest made on the summit of Geiger Grade at 3:22 p.m.

Sunday

• Report of an Australian shepherd in the area of Canyon Way for four days.

• Report on Cartwright Drive of someone shooting their dog four times, then using a tractor to bury it.

• Report of a power outage in Mark Twain at 7:54 p.m.
