Mile High Jazz and local poets

Senior bus tour heads to Lake Tahoe

The Carson City Senior Citizens Center monthly bus trip will travel to Harvey's Lake Tahoe on Wednesday, March 11. The bus will load at 7:45 a.m. in the east parking lot of the senior center, 911 Beverly Drive, depart at 8:15 a.m. and return about 4 p.m.

Artisans sought for Candy Dance

The application deadline is Friday, March 13 for artisans and crafters with handmade art and crafts to display and sell at the 89th annual Candy Dance Arts and Crafts Faire Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26-27. Event organizers are especially interested in providing a wide variety of quality, hand-crafted items for faire-goers to appreciate and enjoy at this year's event.
