Singer, pianist and songwriter Kathy Zavada will be the guest speaker and offer her original music as well on Sunday, March 15, at the Unity Church of Today, 1219 S. Carson St.
There is a meditative service at 9 a.m. and a traditional service at 10:30. Zavada also will be offering a program of spiritual sing-alongs at 12:30 p.m. There will be a potluck after the 10:30 a.m. service.
Zavada's music has been celebrated for it's uplifting and inspirational style. Her most recent CD, "Return to Love," ranked in the top-50 most played CD's on NPR. Zavada makes her home in Mt. Shasta, Calif., and tours nationally sharing her music in public concerts and festivals.
