FREMONT SCHOOL COW PLOP FUNDRAISER
Starting today you can get in on a fundraiser where there is no bull, just luck, courtesy of local cow Betsy. Fremont Elementary School is selling $5 tickets starting today. At 8:30 a.m. Friday, Betsy will be at the school in a fenced enclosure. Whoever purchased the square where she "plops" wins $500. A second plop wins $200. Every ticket is entered into a raffle for $100.

WHEN: Tickets go on sale today. Betsy the cow and her 2-week-old calf will be at the school starting at 8:30 Friday.
COST: Squares are $5 each, no limit

PARKS 4 PAWS BENEFIT
This nonprofit group is hosting a Fancy Fundraiser March 28 with proceeds going to complete the first designated dog park in Carson City.

WHAT: Benefit wine tasting with D'vine Wines, silent auction, live music with Craig Fletcher Sweet Success Band and dancing

SERTOMA FAMILY FUN NIGHT
The Carson Sertoma Club wants you to come and enjoy a fun family night of music history education about rock 'n' roll, featuring the amazing Carson High School Jazz Band. The Sertoma Club main project is helping children in Carson City who have hearing and speech difficulties, cancer or diabetes come join this rockin event that is appropriate for all ages.

CARSON TAHOE CANCER CENTER'S CELEBRITY DOCS MOTHER'S DAY
Thanks to Dick Campagni's generous donation of a choice in which you get to select either a new 2009 Toyota Corolla or 2009 Ford Focus. All of the funds raised from this event go to assist the Carson Tahoe Cancer Center. The drawing will be held at the Celebrity Docs Mother's Day event. You can also purchase your tickets online at the Web site below. Ticket holders need not attend drawing to win.
