Mrs. Sanders, of Ruby Hill, Eureka County was sitting before the fire, bathing her throat in turpentine, when the liquid ignited in her hand and caught her dress on fire. She had the presence of mind to tear her dress off before her clothing caught fire. Her hand was severely burned, but she escaped without further injury.

Isaac Olcovich dead. Two weeks ago he was married to Miss Lizzie Barrett and everyone extended the hope to the young people that only prosperity would fall to their lot. He was born in this city twenty-three years ago. He leaves to mourn his loss a loving wife.
