MIAMI (AP) " Juan Pierre, Manny Ramirez's replacement in left field, hit a tiebreaking two-run single in the seventh inning, and Los Angeles rallied from a three-run deficit to beat slumping Florida 6-4 on Friday night.

The Dodgers' third consecutive victory came hours after Ramirez apologized to his teammates at the team hotel. It was his first time with the team since being suspended for 50 games for using a banned substance.

The Dodgers upped the best record in the majors to 25-12, and improved to 4-4 without Ramirez. The Marlins lost their fifth straight game and are 6-18 since starting the season 11-1.

With the score 3-all, James Loney led off the Dodgers' seventh with a single. Kiko Calero came on and walked Matt Kemp and pinch-hitter Mark Loretta to load the bases, and Pierre singled.

Casey Blake and pinch-hitter Xavier Paul hit back-to-back homers for Los Angeles in the sixth.

Cody Ross homered for Florida, and Hanley Ramirez extended his hitting streak to 12 games with an RBI double.

Jeff Weaver (2-0) pitched a scoreless sixth for the win. Marlins starter Chris Volstad (2-3) lost his third straight start.

Braves 4, Diamondbacks 3

ATLANTA (AP) " Yunel Escobar hit a sacrifice fly with the bases loaded in the bottom of ninth for Atlanta, which blew a lead in the top of the inning.

With one out in the ninth, Jordan Schafer singled off Tony Pena (3-1). Pinch-hitter Kelly Johnson walked and Omar Infante singled. Schafer, who hesitated between second and third to see if center fielder Chris Young would catch the ball, had to hold at third.

Escobar's fly to center allowed Schafer to score the winning run from third without a slide.

Braves closer Mike Gonzalez (2-0) gave up a tying homer to Stephen Drew to lead off the ninth. It was the third blown save in nine chances for Gonzalez.

Chipper Jones homered in the third to give Atlanta a 3-2 lead that held until the ninth.

The loss was the fourth straight and seventh in eight games for Arizona, which opened a 10-game trip.

Rockies 3, Pirates 1

PITTSBURGH (AP) " Brad Hawpe's two-run homer was part of Colorado's three-run ninth inning.

Hawpe homered off Matt Capps, scoring Ian Stewart, who led off the inning with a pinch-hit double. It was Hawpe's sixth homer and it gave him 11 RBIs in his last five games.

Capps (0-3) blew his second save in his last four appearances. Making his third outing since sitting out a week due to elbow fatigue, Capps has allowed nine runs and 15 hits in his last 4 2-3 innings.

Pinch-hitter Matt Murton's RBI single capped the ninth for Colorado.

Alan Embree (1-1) earned the win with a scoreless eighth, and Huston Street struck out the side in the ninth for his fifth save.

Capps' blown save negated Paul Maholm's seven shutout innings.

Craig Monroe went 2 for 3 and had Pittsburgh's only RBI and Robinzon Diaz had two hits for Pittsburgh, which has lost 10 of its last 12 and 14 of 17.

Phillies 10, Nationals 6, 12 innings

WASHINGTON (AP) " Raul Ibanez's fourth hit of the game was a two-run single in the top of the 12th for Philadelphia.

Kip Wells, Washington's eighth pitcher, walked the bases loaded in the 12th and Ibanez broke a 6-all tie. The Phillies added two more runs on Pedro Feliz's RBI double " his fourth hit " and catcher Wil Nieves' throwing error on a double steal.

Wells (0-1), Washington's last available reliever, allowed four run in two innings. J.A. Happ (2-0), Philadelphia's seventh pitcher, got the win by getting the final six outs.

Washington's last bench player " the 21st man used by manager Manny Acta " was Josh Bard, and he flied out as a pinch hitter for the final out of the game that lasted 4 hours, 31 minutes.

Ryan Howard's seventh homer, a three-run shot, made it 6-4 in the seventh.

Phillies closer Brad Lidge blew a save for the second time over the past two seasons with the key hit Willie Harris' two-out, two-run double.

Padres 5, Reds 3

SAN DIEGO (AP) " Adrian Gonzalez homered in his fifth straight game and Scott Hairston drove in the go-ahead run in a three-run seventh inning as San Diego snapped a six-game losing streak.

Gonzalez hit a solo shot in the first off Aaron Harang (3-4), his major league-leading 15th homer. He has six homers in his five-game streak.

The Padres overcame a fielding miscue by right fielder Brian Giles that led to two runs and won for just the fifth time in 24 games.

Gonzalez moved within one game of tying the club record for consecutive games with a homer set by Graig Nettles in 1984.

Kevin Correia (1-2) allowed three runs and five hits over seven innings. Correia's win was the first by a Padres starter in 26 games since Jake Peavy won on April 16. San Diego starters were 0-12 during that span.

Heath Bell picked up his ninth save in as many chances.
