The Reno Journal says that the C.P. freight train No. 6 was detained at Clark's station for two hours by crickets. The track was covered with them for a distance of three miles.

Mint purchase bill signed by President F. D. Roosevelt authorizing the sale by the federal government. The mint has been appraised at $6,000. Federal law provides for sale of property no longer needed by the government for not less than 50 percent of appraised value.
