Lorraine Elizabeth Veves, of Pollock Pines, Calif., was born July 16, 1923 in Elsworth, Maine and passed away May 14, 2009 in Fallon.
Lorraine "Rainey" was loved by many people. She loved everyone and had a special fondness for babies. She was known for her generosity towards those in need. Lorraine will be dearly missed by family and friends. There is peace in knowing she will be reunited with her beloved husband, Peter.
Lorraine was preceded in death by Peter, her husband of 40 years, parents George W. and Ruth Grace Landry and Brother Howard Landry.
Surviving her are brothers Robert, George, Floyd and Paul Landry and Sisters Patricia Connolly and Ruth Spellman.
Services will be 3 p.m., Saturday at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home
