Ivan Jesse Farnworth, 73, passed away May 20, 2009 in Gardnerville. Ivan was born July 9, 1935 in Grace, Idaho to Ivan and Arlene Farnworth. He was a construction contractor. Ivan owned and operated Eagle Valley construction for over twenty years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Charlotte of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Korey and Terri Farnworth of Dayton, Mike and Cindy Tibbals of Yerington, Don and Sandy Tibbals of Fernley and Scott and Melissa Tibbals of Yerington; daughters Nicki Farnworth of Hawaii, Shawna Miller of Fernley and Sherry Tibbals of Yerington; daughter and son-in-law Shannon and Jason Rolfe of Glen Allen, Va.; brothers and sisters-in-law Ron and Pat Farnworth of Carson City and Gary and Dianne Farnworth of Ontario, Ore.; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley Chittenden and Kenny of Yerington and sister Sharon Jones of Reno; 25 Grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City; burial will follow at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
