Health Inspections

Carson City Health Department's food-service inspections from Sept. 23 through Oct. 5 (all scores are on a 100-point scale):

• K9 Dog House Restaurant, 3250 Retail Drive #100, scored 99 points. Cloths used on food-contact surfaces are not clean, do not contain sanitizer residual or are not used properly.

• Laundry Lounge Convenience Store, 1300 E. Fifth St., scored 99 points. An accurate metal stem thermometer was not available to check food (hot dogs) temperature.

• Locals Barbecue Co. Restaurant, 3849 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• McDonald's #7890 Restaurant, 3905 S. Carson St., scored 96 points. No sanitizer residual was detected on dishware after mechanical final rinse.

• Subway #11114 Restaurant, 3959 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• McDonald's #7890 Restaurant, no score. The mechanical dishwasher violation from Oct. 2 has been corrected. The rinse now provides a 200 ppm detectable quat concentration.

• Raley's #114 Deli Department, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Raley's #114 Restaurant Coffee & Tea, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Raley's #114 Restaurant Hot Wok, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 98 points. The shrimp and other potentially hazardous foods in the right side of the hot holding unit were not held hot enough. Increase the temperature of the unit as required to keep food at 140F or more.

• Raley's #114 Meat Department, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Raley's #114 Produce Department, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Raley's #114 Bakery, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.
