Douglas Layne Draper, 77, passed away on July 23, 2009, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City.
Douglas was born in St. Louis, Mo., on December 18, 1931, to Corinne Layne and Fredrick Douglas Draper. He was raised and married in Oakland, Calif. He also lived in the state of Washington and in Fresno, Calif.
He is survived by his brother Richard H. Draper of Fresno, Calif., his daughter Elizabeth; son Gregory; grandsons Bobby and Daniel Draper of Carson City.
