Obituary: Nina E. Hopper

Nina E. Hopper, 87, died at home in Carson City on Oct. 18, 2009. She was born Jan. 24, 1922, in Statesville, N.C., to Joseph and Dovie Hoover. She was preceded in death by her husband Vyron Hopper in 1983, brother Jasper Hoover and sister Elvyn Carter. Survivors include her sons Carl V. Hopper and wife Gwen, and Keith Hopper and wife Carol; sister Sarah Crawford; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
