RENO (AP) - A single-rollover accident during rush hour shut down the far right travel lane of northbound U.S. Highway 395 in south Reno.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chuck Allen says the male driver of a silver Dodge pickup apparently struck the cement barrier on the right edge of the highway about 3:50 p.m. Thursday. The truck then hit a light pole and rolled about 150 feet down the embankment near the Damonte Ranch interchange.

The man has been transported to Renown Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries. He has not been identified but Allen said officers don't believe he is from the Reno area.
