A fundraiser Saturday will provide $20 to the Carson High girl's basketball teams for every 2010 Ford test driven.
Tim Milligan, manager of Capital Ford in Carson City, will have 10 to 15 vehicles at Carson High, 1111 N. Saliman Road, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Every test drive taken will get the teams a $20 contribution from Ford.
Milligan said the program can earn up to $6,000 for the girls' freshman, junior varsity and varsity basketball teams if 300 people will turn out and test one of the vehicles.
The event is part of Ford's Drive One 4 UR School program.
"We're just glad we're able to help the kids," he said.
Participants must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license. Test drives are limited to one per household.
