The following people appeared in Carson City District Court this week:

• Desmond Louie Timentwa, 28, was sentenced to 24 to 60 months in prison on a charge of attempted violation of a condition of lifetime supervision.

• Melinda Noriega, 47, was given up to five years probation, with a suspended prison sentence of 24 to 60 months, on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm.

• Jose Rodriguez-Tellez, 38, an illegal immigrant, was sentenced to 18 to 45 months in prison and deportation upon completion of the prison term on a charge of third-offense drunken driving.

• James Norman Astor, 39, pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny. He will be sentenced on Dec. 21.

• Marco Antonio Mendez, 33, was sentenced to 28 to 72 months in prison on a charge of drug trafficking. He was given credit for serving 95 days in jail.

• Micah Lee McIntosh, 23, was given up to five years probation, with a suspended prison sentence of 19 to 48 months, on a charge of conspiracy to violate the uniform controlled substance act.

• Joseph De Jardins, 26, had his probation revoked. He must serve 12 to 32 months in prison for attempted use of a controlled substance in the presence of a minor. He was given credit for 101 days served in jail.

• Robert Ernest Jacobsen, 54, had his probation revoked. He must serve 16 to 48 months in prison on a charge of possession of a false prescription. He was given credit for serving 142 days in jail.

• Corey Bynum, 25, pleaded guilty to a charge of gross misdemeanor conspiracy to possess stolen property. He will be sentenced Nov. 30.
