Obituary: Doug Chapman

Doug Chapman, 47, a former Dayton resident, died from a long illness Oct. 16, 2009, at home in Cold Springs, Nev. He was born Sept. 16, 1962, in Bakersfield, Calif., to Edward Chapman and Dorothy Baker Chapman Cady. He is survived by his wife Lisa Chapman of Cold Springs; daughter Nicole Chapman of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Natasha Chapman-Nardone and Albert Nardone of Reno; mother Dorothy Cady, grandmother Alice Baker and sister Karon Chapman, all of Klamath Falls, Ore.; in-laws Valerie and John Michaud of Whittier, Calif., and Sam and Katrina Shockley of Dayton; three grandchildren and many other family members. Washoe Memorial Cremation & Burial is in charge of arrangements.
