Senior center to honor volunteers with picnic

Coming up Sept, 19, the Carson City Senior Citizens Center staff will show its appreciation for volunteers' dedication to the center over the past year.

A picnic will be hosted by the center at Mills Park, Pavilions B & C, from 12:30-3:30 pm. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m..

Volunteers will be free; guests $18. Signups will be taken in the Finance Office at the center, and fees for guests will be collected at that time. The last day to sign up is Aug. 24.
