Nathan P. Della Gatta was born in July 1922 in Manhattan, N.Y., and passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009, at the age of 87. A resident of Carson City he attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church while in Pismo Beach, Calif.
For many years Nathan was a logistics engineer for the United States space industry.
He enjoyed music, sports, reading and travel.
Nathan is survived by brothers, Robert Della Gatta of Pismo Beach, Angelo Della Gatta of Palm Desert, Calif., Ben Della Gatta of San Jose, Calif.; and sister, Antoinette Rotondi of Bedford, Mass.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Pismo Beach. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 1, in the Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
